StayWell Hospitality Group (SWHG), owner and operator of the Leisure Inn and Park Regis brands, today announced the launch of the newly refurbished rooms at Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill located in the heart of Hunter Valley’s wine country.
In total, 22 villa apartments have been given a facelift to a value of around $440,000, providing guests with an enhanced experience during their stay at Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill.
All Superior Rooms at Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill have been refurbished, revealing a contemporary new look. Each room has been upgraded with new beds, LCD TVs, DVD players, modern kitchen and bathroom fittings and soft furnishings.
These upgrades add to the existing features at Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill including kitchenette facilities in Studio Apartments, full kitchen facilities in One and Two Bedroom Apartments, corner spa baths in all rooms, outdoor pool, tennis court, BBQ area and onsite restaurant. All apartments feature private patios looking out to 25 acres of landscaped hotel grounds, river and vineyards.
The refurbishment at Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill is in recognition of shifting customer demands within the highly competitive Hunter Valley accommodation market as well as keeping with SWHG’s aim to offer excellent value for money for all its guests.
Mr Simon Wan, CEO of SWHG says the improvements will only heighten the current positive feedback received from guests, in turn strengthening confidence in the Leisure Inn brand.
“We hear from many of our guests that they genuinely enjoy their stay with us at Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill. We are excited to be able to now offer both our new and our loyal returning guests an even greater experience when they next visit. StayWell Hospitality Group has committed to the improvement of many of its properties and Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill is an important step in our overall upgrade plan,” he said.
To compliment the room upgrades, the hotel’s onsite restaurant has also been refurbished and re-branded to Hunter Café & Restaurant offering breakfast 7 days, lunch Thursday – Sunday and dinner Wednesday - Saturday. The restaurant is run by Nathan and Coral McBlane, who together have a vast number of years experience in the hospitality industry. Nathan has been a chef for 17 years with the past 7 years in the Pokolbin area.
In conjunction with the launch of the hotel refurbishments, Leisure Inn Pokolbin Hill is offering the chance for one lucky person to win an indulgent Hunter Valley escape valued at $800.
